Healthy Activity with Kev

-Family Fun Day at Hoxton Park


Recently we held a family fun day out at Hoxton Park for our end of month group event. The idea was to give people an excuse to get out into the fresh air and bring their family and friends along with them. On the day we brought with us a picnic lunch and enjoyed playing some games in the sun like french cricket and frizbee. I was also impressed that some people even mentioned the idea of parking their cars about 5km away and riding a bike to the park and then back. You dont always have to do a dedicated exercise session to keep active and burn calories. By playing some games in a park with your family and friends and even going that step further and riding there and back you somtimes dont even notice that you are getting your heart rate up and burning calories. The key to maintaining life long changes is to inject a fun element into many of the activities we do. So put your thinking caps on and come up with some fun activities that you can do with your family and friends.
